Quick muffler question 200 1983

The car was a stock non-intercooled turbo but I added an intercooler off a 940 turbo, a b21f intake manifold and a 90+ opened up exhaust manifold w/mitstubishi 13c (I know it is wimpy turbo), but all internals are stock. I was thinking of have a well recommended local muffler shop weld in 2.25 inch system from the cat back using a stock volvo muffler. But I can not get a turbo muffler locally so I am thinking of using a stock volvo non-turbo muffler. Is there a difference between the two? The car is a daily driver and I plan on driving it till I or it dies.

Thanks

You might also think about using the IPD turbo muffler conversion kit for non-turbos.

Is there a difference between the two?

The normally aspirated muffler inlet/outlet is 2" in diameter. The turbo muffler inlet/outlet is 2 1/4".
