Speedometer does not work. Replaced sensor and instrument cluster. Any help would be appreciated.

Be sure you are not connecting the red/white tach wire where it does not belong. It will fry a speedometer.

Every time.....if you do not have a tach...cut the end off the wire.

Art's cleanflametrap.com has a lot of info on the speedo. Mine currently requires a hit on the front face to make it spring to life. Must be a solder joint or loose connection in my case.

if both the speedo and odo malfunction AND a cluster replacement changes nothing look in one of two places:

1. the 2 wire connector which attaches to the speedo sensor located on the pumpkin... rear axle cover

2. or less likely a break in one or both of these two wire from this connector to the cluster

very unlikely is the sensor itself.
