Help! Code 232 on 1992 Volvo 240 200 1992

I had the same code on my 89. It would start and idle ok, but some times stall and then throw a code.

I didn't think much of it cause the car just kept running.

Then one day I had the snorkel off between the AMM and the throttle body. I was cleaning it out as it had some oil in it and there it was. A crack between the fold of the bellows. very hard to find as it was small but a very long crack that ran along the crease.

Once I got a new one and put it on I no longer had the code and/or problem.

Take off the snorkel and take a very careful look at it. You might be surprised what you find.
