When I replaced my t-gate wiring harness the gray wire on the left harness was dangling in the hatch- I found no connection for it; can someone describe the connection point or provide a picture? thank You!

    Looking at the wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual, the only gray wire in the hatch goes to the license plate lights.

      I understand that- I don't physically see what the attachment point (male) looks like

        The Haynes diagram shows it connected to the white wire on one end and the light on the other. Interestingly, volvowiringdiagrams.com shows a gray wire going to the rear wiper motor, but not one to the license plate light.
