Putting a receiver hitch on the back of a 220 120-130

Decided to go with the trailer hitch type of bike rack for my wagon. Researching which universal receiver hitch will work. Asked three shops and got three different answers. Anyone having experience with this am looking for advice.

Thanks Scot

You may end up with a custom job off of the bumper mounts. Bring some money..

Agreed that will need some customization. It will be pricey if done correctly and even more expensive if done poorly.

My just end up buying the Skandix trailer hitch and having it modified. Proper distribution of the force is important with any unibody car.

If it's just for a mountain bike or two you could consider a roof bar system. Easy to remove or adaptable for a roof box or other transport usage. Thule do a system and I can send you some pics of the wagon set up if you PM me your address. A tow bar system on the wagon can obstruct the lower tailgate. Obviously with a bike, or bikes if it's a double mount, loaded you can't get in the back without demounting them. If you're currently dropping the rear seat back and putting bikes in the back that's a very cheap compromise.
