This is in reference to my previous post, "I quit - caliper goes back...."

This past summer I've replaced all 4 calipers and all flexible brake lines with reman and new parts from FCP Groton. All good transactions. When I finished, the left front caliper would only bleed from the top bleeder. After posting here and trying several things, my last post mentioned the FCP name. On a Sunday, I received a direct email from one of the FCP management fellows who had been looking at the forum on his weekend and noticed their name mentioned. He wanted to get my project going again and told me to call them Monday. (Which I would have anyway) I did; they were waiting for my call, and they shipped a replacement caliper which worked fine when it arrived. They also arranged a no-charge return shipping lable.

Great service when the seller calls me before I can get a call in to them!!! The problem was in the reman process, not FCP.

    Amazing story.Yes,FCP Groton is good people.

    I seem to remember someone posting negative comments about FCP in this forum.

    I have been doing business with FCP for over ten years, and never had a problem.
    They have excellent service and good prices...and when you call in an order,you get to talk to a nice person in New England,not New Delhi or Manilla!

    I would not be suprised if FCP offered a 5% discount for Brickboard people)?(

      Ordered some ball joints from them about a year ago, website clearly showed them being maunfactured by TRW which is what I wanted as that is the OEM maunfacturer for VOLVO ball joints and tie rod ends. What I received was MOOG and when I called I was told they were the same which is a load of %^&*&%*. Turns out as i have found out later on is that TRW is no longer making either which really s%^*ks because they were heavy duty and built to last. I had replaced the outer tie rods with some after market crap and they lasted all of 30K miles. They were only like 15 bucks so you get what you pay for and buyer beware.

    Ever since I have been ordering parts from FCP Groton, I never had a reason to use their Customer Service. If I had a complaint it would be about Karma, seems like I make an order one week and then a discount coupon hits my email the next week! Oh well.

    I had a similar experience with FCP on a power steering pump.
    Since it was on a FWD car I will describe it in that forum.
    They did replace it and furnished a label to ship it back free.

    FCP Groton has never let me down. They are extremely customer service driven and their prices for quality (OEM) parts are great, especially if you hit one of their many promotions (% off).

    I'm also a happy camper. Several years ago I tallied my FCP receipts to find the total in five figures. It seems strange with all those opportunities to screw up, FCP hasn't yet given me any reason to complain. If they had, though, you would not hear about it in public from me. They would.

    This is good to see. I've seen a lot more dubious opinions of FCP in the last few years. It's really good to see them doing things like this.

    My experiences with FCP have been exemplary: they really stand behind the products even when the failures are not their fault.
