the code is "compensating for lean/rich mixture at idle", which could be caused by any number of things.

Yesterday you posted something about the car blowing black smoke, which on a turbo often indicates a leak in the pressurized intake system (check all connections b/w turbo and throttle). And intake air leaks will certainly screw with the mixture. Had you resolved that issue before the no-start situation developed?

As to the no-start, you've apparently been having a major cleaning session under the hood, so methodically go back over EVERY connector you've messed with and make sure it is firmly seated.

In another thread, people have pointed you to the Idle Air Control. Make sure you did not mix up the connectors for the Idle Air Control and the Throttle Position Switch, which is easy to do. IAC wires are Blue/Yellow and Red/Black. TPS wires are Orange, Black, and Red/White. The car will not start if the IAC is disconnected.

I got it started, it had a bad connector on the engine temp sensor. I had to make sure they both went on. They did. Car still smokes black at start up & has rough idle. I only messed with one connection at a time. what to do?

where is this? can you show me a pic? I am new & having trouble finding my way around this place.

First google image search the part, so you know what it looks like.
It's a silver canister slitghly smaller than a coil, and located below the throttle body. There is an elec connector at the back, and two 1" hoses. See if the connector is on, and whether the hoses have cracks or splits.
