new disc brake combo 444-544

Hello all,

I have been working on disc brakes for my PV544 because of lack of 122 rotors and calipers. I made up the adapter using a 122 spindle.
I will make up a mount for my PV544 later next week.
I found a good combo of parts that uses a rotor from a 2004 vehicle and a 1993 vehicle both of which are readily available.
Had to have the center of the rotor hole opened out to fit the 122 hub. The lug spacing of the rotor was the same as the 122 but the lug holes had to be drilled out to the 122 lug size.
I have a mount made for the 122 which I will take to the machine shop tomorrow to have a pro made mounts machined up.

You are welcome to email me.

    Interesting!
    What is your engine/tranny combination?

      Hi George,

It is a 1987 Chevy 2.5L mated to a Toyota W58 Supra Transmission. Smaller than the Chevy T5 so not too much tunnel trimming required.

Got some flack about this engine so I had an aluminum box fabed up and put a Volvo valve cover on it. Think that will quell the negative comments ?

      Best

If you head west I am where US 60 and 75 cross, close to Vinita.
I'm at least good for lunch. Sure like to see it!
