Doing the Springs/TAB... 200 1989

I didn't have a torque wrench when I did mine I think, and just tightened by feel. The important thing is that the car is resting its weight on its wheel when you tighten the bolts, as the rubber otherwise will rip or wear prematurely.

You will need to lower the arms when doing the TABs, and put the new springs in when putting everything back together. Be aware that the press-fit bolt in the D-shaped cup that holds the lower part of the spring will breake loose from the cup very easily. If it does, just replace it with a suitable bolt.

Good luck! Doing the TABs, along with the blower motor, is one of the initiation rites. Take pics and come back and report your success.

Erling.
