Unplug the mass air sensor and check to see if all the male and female pins and plugs look OK.
It wouldn't hurt to check the grounds in the left front fender, remove the power stage and make sure it is grounded, and make sure you check how the mount for the ABS is grounded.
Most of the electrical components are grounded some how. as is the engine to the body - I think that there are ground straps top and bottom. Your sudden turn could have moved the engine enough to break a ground strap.
Take a good look at your battery cables - the small wires on the positive cable of my '90 744 TI had rotted almost completely away inside the insulation - I had to strip all the positive wires back at least an inch to get rid of the gunk. The same can hold true for the ground cable.
