TSB for Blower Motor leakage 700

Since I have most of the interior torn apart for fixing water leaks. The FAQs mentions a TSB for:

"The reason the original fan failed became quite apparent in today's rain. Water showed up around the new fan. Apparently the 740 has a tendency to leak on the passenger's side with the water ending up in the plastic basin that the fan sets in. [Note: See Volvo TSB for a fix for this problem."

The link is dead. Anyone have a copy or a general description what the fix is?

One added thought. Below the cowl screen on the passenger side is an air intake for the blower. This has a water shield affixed to the cowl immediately below the windshield. If the butyl adhesive fails, water runs from the windshield right down onto the blower motor intake. Get some 3M butyl tape and fix this joint (it will be obvious once you take off the cowl) first.

Thanks Steve. Yes pulled the cowl off chasing other leaks. Saw the cover had pulled away. I just used some 30yr silicon chalk.
FYI. The link takes you to All Data needing a subscription.

Drat: I try to bring all links into the FAQ files for this very reason since they tend to disappear over time. The TSB involved, to my recollection, installation of a plastic deflector cover over the fan blower motor to keep water away. It applies to pre-1990 cars. Almost all these cars by now have been either modified or scrapped. If anyone has a copy of the TSB, kindly let me know.
