Spacer – mechanical fuel pump 120-130

Does anyone here know what is the correct thickness of (a) the spacer, and (b) the gaskets, between the mechanical fuel pump and the block? Presumably there should be a gasket on each side of the spacer.

Spacer – mechanical fuel pump 120-130

SImpleSimon,

I was sorting through a box of parts last night, and I cam across several fuel pump spacers. I had a micrometer handy and remembered this thread. The spacer is .22 inch, and the gaskets on all three of the spacers in the box were paper-covered metal, not all paper like the ones on my car. With the gaskets on both sides, the total thickness was .28 inches.

Dunno why you're asking, but if you need a spacer, I'd be happy to put one of these in the mail to you!

I can give you an approximation.
The spacer is about a quarter of an inch. I would guess the gaskets each compress to
maybe 0.020-025" each

I had mine off the car and in my hands recently, and Walrus is right, the spacer is roughly 1/4 inch, and the gaskets are paper. Given the way the pump functions, the precise thickness of the spacer and gaskets is not likely to matter much.

If no one answers this I can measure mine in situ.

Who sells premade gaskets?
