I was enjoying my ride home today with the top open and all windows down. When I got home my windows would not roll up and the fuse was blown. every time I replace the the blown fuse and turn the key to the run (not start yet) possition it blows the fuse again. How can I diagnose the proplem with out my bentley--wife has it in NM, and how can I get my windows up? I only have 2 white fuses left and I cant seem to find them in my area of houston--kingwood

Given the clue your fuse blows immediately when turning on the key, I know you are talking about fuse 12, not fuse 10. Also on 12 are the A/C compressor (try turning off the snowflake switch) and the rear window defroster (unlikely unless you have a wagon with a bad hinge harness AND a defective defroster timer).

The AC clutch wire has worn through from vibration to give me that symptom once, and remind me the Swedish engineers thought if you can't roll down the windows, why bother giving you A/C. :)

I thought the correct fuse for power windows was a red one?
