I'm a ready buyer of a few things, and NOW I remember that note - and haven't the foggiest idea who posted.

It was in response to another post, so it's not in a heading.

The comment - IIRC - was "if you can wait 'til spring you can have one from my 960 parts car..."

If that was YOU, please answer here. I have two 960's in need of small stuff. 1) Original gas cap, with the little U-shaped loop to hang the cap on the door.
2) Dome light assembly.
3) There are more, just can't think of them now. I'll make a list.

    my car is now officially unburied.

    gas cap is spoken for (by me)

    the dome light is all yours, if you want.

    other things: interior parts, plastics. engine electricals are mostly gone.

    head, engine and trans are still there.

    if you are local to Boston and want to help me take it apart, you can take what you like (negotiated beforehand).

    I'm so glad my beloved 93 965 will be donating its organs to keep others alive (->

    Hmm,
    Not sure if that was I. I have a 940 Turbo I am parting out. Still buried under 5 feet of snow (but I can see the roof now)!
    Gas cap is there, and a door. Interior light assy. has a lens missing.

      Hmmm The earlier post said nothing about snow depth, but otherwise maybe it was you.

      Five feet of snow is a stretch of this Houstonian's imagination. Wow! If it was water, that's more in my realm of experience.

      The 940 and pre-1995 960 platforms are essentially the same. Gas cap will be a good one for me. Dibs on it, if that's the proper terminology.

      Dome light - probably OK, too. When they are supposed to be on, my S/90 lights seem to come on when poked and prodded, but won't stay on. Lenses are OK, so far.

      Is the door trim panel open? Some inside part of my 965 LR door cracked with a loud pop and now the door is open-able from the inside only. Cheap 14-year-old plastic!!

      Seems that 960/S-V/90 parts cars are rare, your 940 skeleton may gain a little value.

        Snow is going fast, actually shoveled out the front end today so I can get the engine. Down to 3 feet, but I can get into the car now.
