(40 brake bleeding 900

I replaced the front brake pads, calipers, and brake hoses and having a problem getting a firm pedal. When I took the hoses off the fluid level dropped to just below the min. mark. Do the rear have to be bled also? The master brake cylinder has 2 brake bleeders on it and is there anything that has to be bled with these? I never saw bleeder nipples on a master brake cyl. I have never had an issue bleeding brakes like this, kinda embarrassing. The car is a 1993 940 SW with ABS. Thanks in advance. Matt

FWIW I had better results when bleeding the brakes if I had the car level and not lifted only at one end.
IMO you should also bleed the rear brakes while your at it. Brake fluid is a consumable, change it at least every two years.
