65 122 front brake calipers 120-130

Hi all,
I'm trying to locate the two bleeder nipples for the front calipers on my 122. They where missing so I can't match them. Any ideas of where I can find them? What the tread size is? Are they the same size (thread size) as the front? Should I just replace them all, front and back? Any new or rebuilt calipers that don't cost an arm and a leg? Thanks once again, Mike

The bleed screws should be 3/8"x24 thread, as are most of the brake line fittings. Longer bleeders fit better on the front to clear the caliper mounting bolts. Look into using Speed Bleeders. They greatly simplify bleeding and flushing brakes, particularly if you find yourself working without help.

good parts guy can supply you with bleeders. Good parts guy can also get the calipers rebuilt for you at around 75-100 a pop. BTW when you say no bleeders do you mean they are broken off and need to be extracted?

My 17 year old daughter bought the car for $50 and we are still working to get it on the road. So far so good. The front brakes look like they were done not too long ago but the bleeders are just missing. The threads look fine. Rear brakes were toast, so we replaced most including ss braided lines. Just need the bleeders for the front and the brakes should be done. Thank You all by the way.

You have the calipers but they don't have bleeder nipples?
They are pretty standard. Take them to a good parts store and they should be able to fit them.
