I'm surprised nobody has jumped on this 444-544

Seems like a reasonable deal to me ( I have no connection with the seller):

It looks very nice, but I would like to see the bodywork before it was painted. I have a 67 Duett that looked about the same as the one on Ebay and I started poking at it with a screwdriver and ended up completely dis-assembling it and welding in new rockers all the way around and new floors. I have pictures of all the rusty bits I cut out. I am still in the process of welding and bodywork.
I am lucky enough to have two Duetts and the other one, "Bubbles" is really nice

    My 67 Duett before:

I saw the car at the Zentrum but don't think I saw you there.
Will you be at the Gilmore in August?

Bubbles is getting her rearend fixed!! I tried to do a pinion seal myself and when I tapped the flange back on, the rear end locked up. The Guys who are making the hoses for the AC say their rear end guy can fix it, so the tow truck comes Monday to take her away. I say I'll be at Kalamazoo and I hope I'll be driving a Duett, we'll see. The AC project is going well and should work out.
I may be calling you on 122 stuff. Davies Owens our intrepid VCOA leader here in Atlanta broke the first rule of car collecting for the first time - he did not buy the best car available. His other newer Volvos are almost perfect specimens either bought new or bought from discerning (extremely picky) collectors like himself.
His new purchase is a 68 122 wagon that runs and drives and needs some bodywork and a new interior. This is also the first vintage car he has owned. I know the things that are common to old Volvos, but I don't know 122s at all. It has ended up at my house because I have a garage. I hope you are well and I definitely want to see you at Kalamazoo.

EBay is the best online site for auctions, and one of the crappiest ones for classified ads. I would have put it up for auction with a starting bid of $19,61 and I week later I'd know what the car is really worth. A car is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, cash, right now.
