So I just finished my mild restoration to make my low milleage, clean 940 16v like new.
And I mean yesterday.
So this morning I come down to my parking space in my secured, camera laden underground parking and stick my key in the door.
It was already unlocked which was strange. Then I noticed all the stuff that was in my glove box scattered around and my stereo wires hanging out of my dash.
I didn't believe what I saw and had to do a double take. My stereo was RIPPED out (old worthless aftermarket one), all the trim around the stereo and ignition destroyed and my rear quarter window smashed out.
I had a nice tantrum and settled down. They went through everything. All they took however was the stereo and my change. Im talking pennies and dimes.
Anyway, I have sourced a quarter window that Im picking up (this is a sedan so that little one next to the roll down window in the rear door). Any tricks to replacing it. I have replaced many roll down windows without too much trouble.
Also they tried to get in through the passenger side key hole and ruined it. How hard is that too replace?
Anyone know what colors the stereo wires go to in terms of speaker? They cut off the harness but did leave me lots of wiring thank god.
