Dear dent,
May this find you well. Does this inquiry concern a 960 sedan? If so, this conversion is not feasible. The seats in wagons do fold down. To do that, the lower cushions are hinged, with attachment points just above the floor. These hinges allow the lower cushions to be raised towards the backs of the front seats.
The back cushiones also are hinged, with attachment points attached to the floor pan, right inside the rear doors. There are also locking lugs, at the top of the rear cushion. These lugs are mounted to the "C" pillar.
It would be very hard to install in a sedan, the special fiitngs needed to allow the rear seats to fold down.
Even if this were done, structural steel plate, that separates the trunk from the passenger cabin, would sharply limit usable area.
Hope this helps.
Yours faithfully,
Spook
