finally got the o2 sensor out

740 gl rex regina - the o2 sensor is insane to remove - I limped to a muffler shop and the boys there did the coolest thing. they torched it got my old o2 sensor out and rethreading the bung hole and let me install my new one from groton - for free kaboom - yep I tipped them so all were happy.
740 gl b230 f now runs almost perfect a little hesitation from standing stops and 2 tries to start. New plugs ngk's, new ect sensor, from the junk yard a replaced IAC, me thinks the map sensor is stodgy or wrong.
I cannot find the recommened replacement map anyplace but car is much better.
Doing all of this in frosty Chicago so will have to be patient with a throttle body cleaning but man so happy to have wheels.

finally got the o2 sensor out part 2 700 1990

ok stop all the applause mmmm after a fun day of driving the old blue volvo all over town, I went out just now and ugh no start. It will turn over sounds aok but won't stay running. I have a new ect, new o2 sensor, new cat, IAC is original though have a spare will try that tomorrow its dark now, also have new plugs, cap and rotor are 6 months old and it ran beautifully early a little hesitation but no other issues. New fuel fitler (90 days old)
It got colder was 4 degrees earlier and now about freezing so tell me the diagnosis:
knock sensor, bad IAC, bad map ( me thinks it is the map sensor
Oh I checked all the grounds again it ran really sweet when I put in the new o2 at about noon - not getting any codes other my speedometer which I knew about.

Very frustrating mmmm thoughts anyone :(
