    Cold? CHECK YOUR ANTIFREEZE! 200

Just another reason why I am not a fan of the AutoStart devices.

Aside from Cats sleeping under the hood and becoming chopmeat because there was no human footsteps to scare them out from under there, The Frozen engine is not recognizable when the owner sitting at the kitchen table as the car overheats in the driveway due to no water circulation. Aside from just doing proper maintanence so you don't have any issues, you need to be in the car watching the gauges during these extreme weather conditions.

      cats and remote-start 200

Great point about cats. We have multiple and always beep the horn before we start. But I wouldn't have thought about this and remote starters.

      Cold? CHECK YOUR ANTIFREEZE! 140-160

Check it before it freezes up - so you can add antifreeze BEFORE it freezes instead
of replacing freeze plugs later like I'll have to do on the Yellow Peril, which pushed
one out the last hard freeze!
