signal/hazard light problem! 700 1990

Happy new year guys! after changing all bulbs, fuses and a bulb holder, my tail and signal lights are on. However, now my signal/hazard lights are functioning oddly. It,s one of those sometime functioning and sometime not problems. Any clues??

With new bulbs and clean sockets, the likely culprit is how the sockets are locked into the circuits boards. Sometimes turning them all the way clockwise until they stop will give a poor connection. Turn them back and forth and try backing them up a touch to see how that works.

I have tried your suggestion and am not getting results, should I try changing the flasher relay?

I'm not really familiar with Volvo flasher relays. Maybe you can find something in the FAQ here:

I can't seem to find anything in the FAQ so my next thing will be to try the flasher relay.
