Temperature Sensor 120-130

I am trying to figure out a way to install a new temperature sensor and the aftermarket sensor I bought is to long to fit into the block of my B18. Any Suggestions?

To the best of my knowledge there is no temperature sensor on the 122.
There is a bulb on the temperature gauge (which cannot be separated from it) but it
does not go into the block. (It goes into the cylinder head.)
What are you trying to do?

The only (cheesy) fix that I could think of would be to (1) screw in a pipe nipple and a coupling that would get your aftermarket bulb to fit in the factory hole in the cylinder head, or, (2) find or make a new spot on your engine or radiator that will accomodate the longer sender. I like Eric's idea for it's expediency.

        Hello,

New original temperature gauges are still available for around $200.00. It is the later B20 version.

I have both the early B16/B18 version and the later B20 version rebuilt temperature gauges in stock.

Contact me at: e_hamlet (AT) hotmail (DOT)com, if you are interested.
