I have a fairly complete B20 Continuous Injection system, manifold and all, that I will make you a good deal on.

I may have a Fuel Distributor 140-160 1974

The same one (FD10X - 0 438 100 005) was used up thru 1977 240.

Also -75-⒡ Audi 100LS and Saab 99 from '75-'77.

Are you using the "CI" type pressure gauge with the selector valve. If not, see the $59.00 one at JC Whitney [looks like it's discontinued] and Art Benstien's excellent photo write-up at Using K-Jet Gauge

CI fuel injection system 140-160 1974

I am a little confused by what CI-fuel injection is. My '76,'78 and '81 240's had K-jet fuel injection with the fuel distributor. The K-jet system is almost completely controlled by vac and has very little, or no, electrical controls.

I know some of the 140's had D-Jet fuel inject ion and that I know nothing about except that it was primarily electrically controlled. This system was also common in late-model VW square-back and fastbacks as well as some porsche 914's, etc. If you have D-jet...I am not much help.

The lack of puctuation or cpitalization in your post has also confused me. Can I assume that:

"i put a gauge between the distributor and the pressure regulator and nothing"

Means that you have no pressure after the pressure regulator? What about before the pressure regulator, what is the pressure?

"I mounted one off a Saab on my car and it runs better but still no pressure"

This really confused me. If you have no fuel pressure, the car can't run.

My parsing out of you post is just my best guess as to what you are trying to say.

"I am a little confused by what CI-fuel injection is"
Both K-jet and CIS refer to the same type system. Volvo, Porsche, Saab and VW all used the earlier D-jet--which is electronic--and later switched to the K-jet--'74 & '75 B20F in the Volvos, Saab 900, Porsche 914 and VW Rabbit, etc.-- Dave

Sad but true...for lack of an "S" I could not figure out what fuel injection system he was talking about.

I was aware that 74-75 140's used K-jet in the 'States but I was not sure if the D-jet continued in other markets for those years. I just was not making the connections.

Thanks for clearing it up for me. Wish I could help more the question, but I am still bit confused about the rest of it.

CI = Continuous Injection aka K-Jet... 140-160 1974

...but it's often confused with Volvo's CIS, meaning Constant Idle System.
