WAGON EXHAUST HEAT SHIELD 700

The '89 760T wagon had a break in the exhaust axle pipe that pumped hot exhaust up against the underside of the rear compartment. The adhesive holding the heat shield in place there seems to have melted in the extreme conditions. What's the best way to reattach the heat shield now that I've replaced the exhaust?

Thanks.
Jon
