That is a real eye opener! I wish they would have been able to center them up a bit before impact though. The BMW cut through the Volvo like it was paper, amazing. Thanks for posting.

That's not the point of the test. Real accidents don't occur with cars centered, they are offset like in this test. Funny thing is, is back when these cars were built, they only did head on crash testing, not offset tests.

I'm just as much of an old school volvo/bmw fan as many others on this board. But newer cars are far more advanced than the old metal we swear by, and I'd rather be in a newer car in an accident, then the older stuff anyday!
