I have a 1993 volvo 960 wagon. I am trying to locate the gas line filter. Can any one help me?

May this find you well. The fuel filter should be mounted next to the main fuel pump, which is affixed to the underside of the floor pan, beneath the driver's seat. See the site FAQs for instructions on changing the filter.

Be advised, that if you want to work in this area - the floor pan under the driver's seat - the sensor for the airbag system is affixed to the floor pan, under the driver's seat (but on the inside of the car). Hammering on the floor pan could trigger an airbag deployment.

Therefore, before working in this area, remove the negative battery cable clamp from the negative battery terminal, and put the cable clamp in a plastic bag, to isolate it. Wait at least 20 minutes, before beginning work. Once you're done, replace the negative battery cable clamp on the battery terminal.

You will need to have handy the radio security code, in order to re-activate the radio.
