Focus! The way to troubleshoot these kinds of problems is to take a systematic approach. The TPS is not your problem. You can unplug it and the car will still start and run (just a bit sluggish on acceleration)--all it does is add extra fuel as you open the throttle. Your symptoms are erratic operation.
Start with fuel. Clean fuel filters (both in tank and at pump). Check for obstructions in fuel line. Check fuel pressure--should come up at start to ~28lbs and hold through running. Check plugs--are they fouled or sooty? If so, running too rich.
If no fuel issues, check the temperature sensor that screws into the block on the passenger side near the AAV. They can fail intermittantly--good cold, fails when warm. This will make the engine run way rich as it warms up, causing stumbling and dying. Engine will start and run again after it cools. Check resistance with ohm meter--high when cold, decreasing as it warms up--failure if it goes to open (0 ohms) or infinity.
Keep us posted on what you find.
