I believe the previous posts may have answered most of your questions, but to your third the general rule is that all 544's from 1958 with the B16 engine had 6V, hence the same 6 fuse blocks as the late 444L series. When the B18 came in from 1961, the 544(C model?) also got 12V and most likely a similar setup of the fuseblocks as the later 121/122. I am quite certain that the same rule applies to the 121/122; 6V = B16 and 12V = B18, year of change 1961.
BTW; my -58 544A has the 6 fuse block as shown in the pic in one of the posts, but it also hold a separate 4 fuse block close to the radiator for the front lights. But you are mots likely familar with that one.
