Changing accesory bushings 200 1986

With the search function temporarily out I need to ask my questions. Is it preferred or necessary to remove the P/S pump in order to replace the A/C accessory bushings? I can see the 2 lower are accessible from underneath but the 2 upper bushings appear to be much more inaccessible.

Changing accesory bushings 200 1986

I pulled out the whole shooting match when I put in poly accessory bushings. It gave me an opportunity to clean things up and take a close look. Additionally, I took a little crocus cloth and cleaned out the holes for the bushings. Then, a little of the grease used in the kit for the sway bar on the bushing, and I used a pair of water pump pliers to press the new bushing in to place. Finally, another little slather of grease on the steel bushing, and once again used the pliers to press that piece in after the poly bushing was already in place. Hope this helps.
