"Engine Speed versus road speed' 120-130

Hello All!
Does there exist a graph that shows the relationship between engine RPM's and MPH in terms of gear selection? I've seen them before for other cars...not sure which number is on which axis, but the graph has 4 lines each representing each gear and each line has a different slope. Does this make sense?

I've downloading the green manual, but it's not in there at all.

Assistance, please.

Pat.

    Pat,
I am a new 122 owner (within a month) and have already faced a mountain of fun issues, You said you are DL'ing (or have downloaded) the green manual, and I am wondering where to track down that download. Mine is a '66, and the first thing in my life to make me overlook the hole in my wallet.
    Thanks
    James

      Welcome to the family!

      The website you want is

      www.volvoamazonpictures.se

It is a wealth of information, pictures, statistics, descriptions, etc.
      Very helpful site.
On the left side look for "Documents" or "Dokument" is you can read Swedish.
You'll find everything you need there.

      Best of luck!!
      Pat.

Here you go. I don't know where I found this. It belongs to someone else. It isn't anything that can't be calculated so I don't think I am stepping on anyone's toes by posting it.

Looks like a decent chart, but unless I'm missing something, it doesn't have the 4:10 axle with M40 listed. I think that is what your other post stated.
At least it puts you in the ballpark though.

Right, I noticed that also, but then in black type at the top, it does refer to
a 4.10 rear axel and says "lowers RPM 10%", so yea not exact, but still gives an idea of engine speed.
          Pat.
