Well, It's All done I think. It's going in the Duett today and It will hopefully run and not leak fluids everywhere. I have this crazy idea of actually driving the car someday.

    Thanks all! It does feel good to have it all done, Almost. Fun sometimes to do and learn things beyond changing oil. It helps greatly to have all of you guys answering my questions. I sure am glad there are nice people to help me out with this old Volvo stuff.

    That looks great.
    I think I took similar photos of my B16 when it was done a few years ago.

    Runs great - but - ugh! That damn rear main seal leaked like a sieve from the minute I started it up for the first time and still does. That is something "on the list" to replace again. Unfortunately I'll have to pull the engine to do it. What a pain.

    I really hope yours doesn't leak. It's a terrible feeling to finish a rebuild only to find a puddle on the floor.

      I'm really hoping the rear seal doesn't leak also--because that engine isn't coming back out. I'm hoping it doesn't leak anywhere, but that's a lot to hope for.

      Posting pictures. Sometimes it lets me Upload, and sometimes it does not. I just go to the brickboard gallery and follow the steps to upload a picture from my pictures. If it works....I then copy (with the mouse) the HTML phrase from the info at the side of the picture when it's in the brickboard gallery, Then post my message and paste the HTML info into my post.
      Hope this helps????

    Best of luck on the leaks. I think the fuel pump is supposed to leak, thus protecting (ineffectively I might add) the entire undercarriage from rust.
