performance ecu is it worth it? S90-V90 1995

Is a modified ecu worth it?Do u get better mpg and horsepower?Does any one here have a modified ecu for a 960 or v90 or s90?If u do is it better then the stock?

I doubt you'll find anything with "performance" related to the S90. Perhaps the only thing is a K&N filter..

It is a big heavy sedan, in order to get better mpg, drive ~100kmh on highway and no more, and be extremly gentle on the throttle. In the summer I have seen 7.74L/100km on mine, all highway with 300,000km+

there actually was a company that sold performance ECUs for these cars (can't remember their name, so I'm no help in figuring out). They cost somewhere between $400 and $500. And I think the return was something like 20-30hp more. Never bought one myself, and never heard of anyone installing it.

IF you find a link, let me know. I'll bookmark, because you never know when the ECU in your car might crap out.
