Front door replacement speakers for manual windows? 88 240 4 door 200

Has anyone been able to find direct replacements for the standard volvo speakers?
Manual window cranks do not leave much clearance with the cover.

I have purchased 4 radios and 3 sets of speakers from Crutchfield over the years. Their selection, prices, and service are fantastic.

I looked at the Crutchfield website in which you can search Car Audio & Video and then click Outfit my Car. I selected your Volvo 240 and they do not show any speaker that they carry for front door application. This is strange because I've bought front door speakers from them and they fit perfectly (but this was about 7 years ago). The installation kit they offered free with the speakers was super-- you retained the factory plastic speaker grills. Install was a snap too because you don't have to pull the door panel.

I'd call them to speak to a human being to see what the deal is. My guess is it has to do with the depth of the speaker (which would interfere with the window regulator in the door).

I put some new ones in about 3 years ago from local Crutchfield. Great fit.

Thanks Chris I will give them a call. I will have a stock speaker in hand when I do.
