Headlights Cutting out 200 1986

There are no fuses in the headlight circuits. Most likely it's the Main headlight relay that Jorrell mentions. On my '86 I found it under the "dead pedal" bump where the driver's left foot rests -- a dank, wet hole from water leakage. Or it could be the connector, as pictured.

It looks like the one pictured and mounted in the better location above the driver's toes on a clip. It's a common-looking 5-pin Bosch relay, but just any old one won't do for the headlights.

Volvo 13247490-9 is Bosch # 0-332-015-006 or 012. Or 0-332-015-013.
