FPR/Fuel Pump Noise 140-160 1972

Its hard to say since the normal 28 psi is off that scale, but the return line is supposed to be depressurized so the low PSI after the FPR is perfectly normal.

Getting an accurate read on the pressure being held before the FPR is really what you need to figure out in order to rule out the FPR as a culprit.

My "gut" says FPR, but it may yet be something else.

The info at that porche 914 site is very good. Maybe you can find something that matches your problems.
