My 745 needs a new front wheel bearing, and badly. Prices are insane, almost all are $240 and up. It is the one-piece, complete hub assembly, for a 1991. FCP Groton has one for around $95, but some (nowhere near all) of the aftermarket stuff they sell is said to be of dubious quality. Does anyone know about these wheel bearings from them?

If you would like to get original Volvo hubs, Tasca Volvo (www.tascavolvoparts.com) has them for a more reasonable price than a dealer.

I have used non- Volvo hub assemblies,though not from FCP,with no problems.Most have been from auto parts chains locally,and generally include a lifetime warranty.
