At idle my car will miss every now and then (hessitate)it is noticeable if stationery in drive or reverse with the foot on the brake. If i put the car in neuteral it is unnoticeable or hard to detect. If i rev up the engine when stationery it goes away. When i drive on the road betwween 65 to 70 km/h under load at aprox 2000rpm it will hessitate if i put my foot down it will pick up revs and speed and run fine.I changed the fuel filter and checked for codes and none showed up in socket 1 and 2.
Any clues on where to start looking apreciated.

On my '97 I had a leaking input manifold gasket that started out with the same indications so I followed the following process and ended up replacing the gasket: When the car is in idle; spray carb cleaner or throttle body cleaner or something similar around the intake manifold and check for a vacuum leak. If the rpms increase and/or the engine smooths out, you may first try tightening up the bolts and see if it clears the problem , if not you must replace the gasket; don't remove the round rubber tubes; just the bolts that connect the manifold to the head; if you remove the round tubes they are expensive to replace.
This may not be your problem but it's easy to check.
Let us know how you make out.
