94 945 nonturbo Bosh Parts Interchange 900

I am buying a 94 945 in a week or two (I agreed to buy it and will take possetion after his other car is fixed).

I have an 89 bosh ignition 740 that is mostly in my parts bins (I parted it out) because I also have a 91 740 with bosh ignition.

Is the 94 940 using the same ignition system as the other cars?? I do know that all three of those cars are Bosh, not regina.

(my 90 740 with regina is destined for the parts bins this fall)

    Dear Adirondacker,

    May this find you well.

The following Bosch parts will be the same:
Ignition coil (cylinder, mounted on passenger side strut tower)
Ignition power stage (mounted on driver side inner fender wall)
Distributor (if mounted at the rear of the engine, at the top)
Fuel injectors (if yellow top; sea foam green = turbo; pale blue = Rex/Regina )
Fuel pump (if your '94 has a two-pump set-up [one in-tank; the other affixed to the underside of the floor pan, about under the driver's seat]).
    Fuel pressure regulator.

    Hope this helps.

    Yours faithfully,

    Spook
