Cruise control module S90-V90 1998

Can anyone give me the location for the cruise control module on my 98 S90?
Is there a dash light to indicate cruise has been selected?

Vadis tells me it is in the console tunnel. I have removed the tunnel and found no beast.
Trying to fix my cruise. Vac lines seem to be fine. Vac motor seems Ok. Stalk switch is fine, so I am down to speedo wire disconnected or module.
Hints will be accepted.

Cruise control FIXED!! S90-V90 1998

Finally got the time (and weather) to dive into the cruise control problem. Did all the tests in the FAQ's but still no cruise. I ended up hot wiring the vac pump right to battery and ahha. No motor run. Ohmed it out and it had 10 OHMS resistance which is spec. Hmmm, motor was getting power but would not run. Motor was not open circuited or shorted. 10 OHM was spec. SO i rip it out and remove the black cap over the motor. It was totally full of white corrosion powder. Filled. I wirebrush it all off. blow it all out. lubed the upper bearing put some visegrips on the armature end and give it a little twist and plop it free's up. I then take the front vac end oblong cap off and clean it all out. Get all the corrosion out and hot wire it again. I stuck my cheap vac guage on it. 2 inches running free and 22 inches when i wire in the governor. Sweet. Put it all back together and install it. Yay cruise works great.

Cruise control FIXED!! S90-V90 1998

Hello,

Could you tell me how you hooked up the motor direct to battery? There are three contacts so which one goes where. I have the same problem, no vacuum leak, but I don't know if its pump motor or controller.

Thanks

Cruise control FIXED!! S90-V90 1998

3 wires
lowest one is yellow. That is your hot wire + for motor and governor
Middle wire is Green It is motor negative -
Upper wire is Orange it is governor negative -

I used alligator clips and very carfully hooked the yellow up at the motor. I then hooked the Green up at motor
Tripled checked they were not touching each other.
grounded the negative to the bolt on the strut tower.
Then ..again ..carefully touched the + to my + battery post.
Nothing ran.
I left the + attached to the motor and moved the - terminal to the Orange and grounded it to the strut tower.
Then touched the + to Battery and listended for the governor to click. Which it did.
Then i removed the motor ass'y. 1 10mm bolt hiding under a strain releif and 1 vac line on the bottom and finagled it out. Pulled the black cap off the motor and found all the corrosion
I have the wiring diagram I can email or fax if you need it.
Once I took the driver side panel off the inside of the car to expose the module (third nearest the ashtray) I could hear the module clicking as I selected on/off/resume etc and could also hear the unit power up when i reached over 50KM.
