I am looking for a rear seat latch for a 240 wagon. Anyone have one they would sell or know a good place to look. Not many in the boneyards in Alabama.

    Take it from one who has tried to put a new one in, it ain't easy. It has a scissors mechanism. Almost impossible to get the spring wire loop over both left and right side. I broke the plastic nub. $40 wasted. If I recall correctly pre-86 had black metal latch handles. Paint it to match your interior. I swapped the entire seatback. Or you can see if the metal latch will interchange. Don't confuse the seatback with the seat bottom. Pre-86 bottoms had a different mount and are not interchangeable but the seat backs attach the same for many prior years. Is 91 the year wagons had fabric? Then you will need to have an upholstery shop swap the upholstery "skin" if you swap backs.

    That would be great. E-mail me with the cost if you find one. Fist choice would be for a tan interior...but I am not really that picky.

      My wife has grounded me from my local boneyard for a few days so if your not in a huge hurry, I could probably pick you one up next week. I'm sure they have several. They're cheap, let me know.
