Fuel Presure Reg. Question 200

Let say I have a hole in the fuel presure reg so that fuel get pulled thru the vac. line. Could this cause fuel to mix with the oil, the plugs to get black cabon build up and when I turn the screw to adjust the base ideal it seem to have little to no effect?

    Fuel Presure Reg. Question 200

OH yeah, under an extreme Rich condition. You will get , wht I used to call, Wall wash. So much gas running down the walls of teh Cylinder in gets past the rings and into the oil. Does the oil smell like gas?

A bad O2 sensor will cause the same very rich condition.

Don't mess with the idle screw, change the bad parts.

Thanks for the help. The o2 sensor was replaced by pervious owner about 41/2 months ago. I hope this is the problem with the car. That would be an easy fix!

Fuel in the gas line can indeed cause that... in fact almost always does! If you have fuel in the gas line, it's time to change it ASAP and change the now diluted oil.
