MSD 6A on a 87 240 200

Has anyone tried a MSD 6A on a 240? I have a extra on that I'm not using. I'm wanting more MPG than the 25 MPG my car gets. When my war was newer my car got 27.7 with a change to AC rapid fire plugs. The plugs have change and the mileage has. Compression is good (1-195 psi, 2-200 psi, 3-205 psi 4-204 psi).
Back then compression was 200- 209 psi. Thoughts on this will help.

You'll find plenty discussion of Megasquirt on turbobricks.com.
However the intent on that forum is primarily performance.
    But you'll find information there.

For discussion of other mods that helped fuel economy on my '89 245, see my threads at gassavers.org.
