Hi all, this may be of some interest to PV owners that are in need of replacement for the lower A frame inboard pivot bushings.
After seeing what was entailed in replacing these and seeing the replacement rubber bushings - I decided to make my own.
I have been running glass filled PTFE (teflon is the DuPont trade name) on my 220 for about a year and am well pleased with the handling and wear of these.
Due to the fact that the loads/springs cause the lower frames to not line up (concentric with the stud) on the PVs I made these a bit different than the upper 122 bushings. First I machined the PTFE to 1.14 OD X .875 ID X 1.25 length. Next I made a "hat" from 6061 Al. this measured .874 OD X .719 ID (23/32") X 1" with a 1" OD brim, .1 thick and last, put a long chamfer on the crown.
This allowed me to install the PTFE part first (after a bit of wrestling with a small jack and clamp) Once these were in I could install the "hat", chamfer first and tighten the locknut and washer to pull everything concentric. I forgot to mention there was a small internal chamfer in the PTFE to accept and start the aluminum chamfer. Photo (hopefully) below.

Cheers!
