Right rear E-brake cable & bracket position info needed 700 1991

Hello, I replaced the right e brake cable and found the little cable bracket normally welded onto the rear solid axle was missing on my 91 740 turbo wagon. I have made another bracket, ready to weld onto the axle, but can't see how it would attached onto the brake cable without the cable rubbing against the rear differential (no doubt how the cable broke in the first place).

If anyone can see me or post a pic showing the routing of the cable in relation to the differential and the bracket, I'll name my next child after you (if I have any more, and if your name isn't the same as either of my existing kids).

Thanks.

Allan

Hi thanks.....but where does the cable go in relation to the differential? It's hard to tell that from your pic.

Maybe these will help more, first is taken from directly behind the rear axle, second is at an angle but you can kind of see the relationships involved...
