Got a fault code 1-4-3 using socket # 6 on my 1993 945 900 1993

The check engine light has come on 2 times showing a code 1-4-3 from socket 6. What does this mean and how do I fix it? The car has 227,000 miles.

    Got a fault code 1-4-3 using socket # 6 on my 1993 945 900 1993

The code is "Knock sensor signal missing or sensor defective"

Check to make sure the wire connection is tight on the sensor.
The sensor is somewhere on the side of the engine and senses when
the engine spark knocks and then it retards the timing.

    I hope this helps.

    Jimo
