I'm reassembling the heater core / temp valve. I can't remember where the temperature sensor goes in the heater core and the diagrams are no help.

Does the sensor go on the hot side of the core or on the fresh air side of the core? Or does it go on the side of the heater core??

On a 140, it is between the heater core and the cabin.

I think it is coiled around a few times and stuck into the rear (firewall side) of the core.
