MY SON'S 240 - STILL NO START - FIXED !!!! 200

Thanks to all who offered advice, we have a runner !! As I posted earlier, it was the harmonic balancer and a sheared drive key on the crankshaft timing belt sprocket. With a new balancer, sprocket, timing belt and tensioner it started like a sunny summer's day. MMMMM, good.

    Now that is a failure I've never heard about or seen, but it makes sense if the balancer is slipping catching! EXCELLENT post!
