Goodbye to a 1985 240? Bad Wiring Harness 200

I got the sad news that the wiring harness is pretty much dead from the shop this weekend, and I don't have the space, time, or expertise to attempt this kind of repair on my own. I also am not inclined to spend the $1000 + to have it fixed by someone else. So my question is, what do I do now? Donate her to charity? I can't find anyone in town (Portland, OR) to purchase it as a parts car. Anyone know NW Volvo enthusiasts who would be interested? Or have any other ideas?

I always thought I'd retire her to my mom's in Texas where she'd become a planter . . . I've had this car since 1992, when I was 16, and she served me well. When they told me the news I felt like I'd been told my cat had cancer.
