Voltmeter light 200 1989

Hi all,

I got my voltmeter hooked up today, I'm using power from fuse position 1 and ground is side tapped from the stereo. Question is, the voltmeter I bought had no light bulb, and it has a hole in the back. Can I get a bulb from the store or does it have a plastic seat it fits in? The light from the small clock was not the same size as this. If anyone knows where to pick one up besides a lucky break at a junkyard it would help me greatly. Thanks.

Like Max says, it's a tiny square holder for that guage lamp.
You'll probably need the one with two terminals, one for ground one for + from rheostat. Tap into the brown wires in dash for connections. You may find it's the same as the lamp in the fog light switch, emergency flasher, or another switch or gauge.

There is a small black plastic holder that the bulb (peanut type) fits in. Get one off the gauge set of a turbo or something similar. I have a pic somewhere in the archives that I converted to LED bulbs but it gives you an idea of the size. They go in to the lip then turn a half turn. Make sure you can get a bright bulb as most of these are very small bulbs... Good Luck.. Max:>)
